We lost another Council Brother, Ralph Manfredi on November 8. Ralph was an active member of our council for many years, and it was always great to see him and Patty at Mass. Our council service will be held in the funeral home during visitation hours at 7 PM, please do your best to join us. See more information and a link to the obituary below. May God rest his soul!

The Council Officers' Meeting will be held online via Zoom on November 16, 7:00 PM. A meeting invite has already been sent.
|
Our Parish will host Christmas-Ville on Saturday December 3rd from Noon through 4 PM, I encourage everyone to participate. Please use the link on the website to volunteer for 2-hour shifts starting the Wednesday before the event and especially on the day of – we need a lot of help on the Saturday during the event. |
Brother Ralph was one of the absolute best ambassadors for the K of C in Martinsville- he volunteered for many years at our K of C 5959 Christmas pageants playing Santa and loved the kids! He always had a smile on his face and an encouraging word on his lips. In the last few years as his health declined, Pat brought him to church as much as possible and he kept this same wonderful attitude and never complained. What a role model! I will really miss him and pray for him, Pat and the kids! May God rest his soul.

Exemplification Ceremony
The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The one degree is now the Charity, Unity and Fraternity (CUF) degree. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.
