Grand Knight's Message

Dear Worthy Brothers, Family, and Friends,

We welcome with open arms the arrival of the Advent season – where we prepare for the second coming of Jesus and celebrate the anniversary of the birth of our Lord and Savior. All the good works we Knights do we do for His glory.

Before we look ahead, let’s thank all the Knights who participated in the “Light up the Night” parish fundraiser by setting up trees and putting on the lights. It was and is a wonderful event. In case you have not seen the Christmas Tree sponsored by our council, here is a picture:

Also, special commendation to Brother Mike Sabella, who put his professional construction talents to good use when he assisted with the construction of the creche in front of the Church.

Worthy Brothers, Family, and Friends,

Our council, along with the ladies of the CCW, are planning a Blessed Sacrament Parish International Food Festival. The event is open to everyone, and all are encouraged to bring an appetizer, entree, and/or dessert to share with everyone. The key is for all the attendees to bring their favorite dish to share. We will serve water and soft drinks, if you would like to have a glass of wine or beer, please bring your own bottles.

Everyone will be encouraged to wear a name tag with the number of years as a member of the parish. As such we will be able to recognize the parishioner with the longest and shortest tenure. We are still planning the event but are expecting to at least have a 50/50 and basket raffle - stay tuned for more details.

We'd appreciate your help with selling tickets after all masses in coming weeks. The plan is to sell tickets for a couple of weekends in December, before Christmas, and then, the first week of January. Please make yourself available at whichever Mass you attend. We will have tickets and sign-up lists available this week. Click here to access Sign Up Genius and volunteer,

Vivat Jesus!
