Grand Knight's Message
Dear Worthy Brothers, Family and Friends,
On the anniversary of 9/11, the attacks on the twin towers, let us remember those who lost their lives and pray that they may Rest in Peace and for their loved ones and the rescuers!
Our Council has two notable events coming very quickly this September.
On September 23, we will be holding two events that are highlights of the year – the Officer Installation and the dinner to honor our Past Grand Knight, Jon DeLeon.
- The Officer Installation will be conducted by our District Deputy, Jim Gallombardo, right after the 4:00 PM Mass. It is a very enjoyable ceremony. If you attend 4:00 Mass, please consider staying after Mass to attend the ceremony.
- Then, at 6:00 in the Parish Hall, we will hold the Past Grand Knight Dinner to honor Jon Deleon, who served as Grand Knight for the past two years. The dinner will be catered by Panatieri’s, so you know the food will be excellent. This is a BYOB event with the ticket price set at $40/person. In order for us to get an accurate head count, please RSVP to PGK Manny Cirne by Tuesday, September 12. Thank you.
I hope to see many Knights at the Officer Installation and Past Grand Knight Dinner.

Exemplification Ceremony
The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The one degree is now the Charity, Unity and Fraternity (CUF) degree. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.
The link below includes a video of the ceremony. Take the time to view this video as a refresher as to what the Knights of Columbus are about and why you joined and to help you explain to your family who the Knights are, what we stand for and what we do.
