Worthy Brothers, Family and Friends,

I have learned that PGK Al Logiudice has suffered a "mild stroke". I now understand why I didn't see him at either the wake or the funeral for PGK Joe Beotsch.

Please pray for Brother Al who is a charter member of Council 5959.

Vivat Jesu,

PGK Fred Ciociola

Past Grand Knight,

To ensure a smooth flow of the event, we will proceed as follows:
The volunteers for the 8 am shifts should meet me at the Blessed Sacrament Church parking lot at 7:45 to pick up the vests, cans, and zip-lock bags.
At the end of each shift, the brother leaving will put the collected money in a Zip-lock bag, and hand the vest, remaining Zip-lock bags, and empty can to the brother serving the next shift.
Each brother should take the collected money home, count it, and make out a personal check payable to the council for the total collected amount plus a personal donation is desired.
Brothers, family, and friends are all encouraged to donate as well.
Checks must be made out to Knight of Columbus Council 5959 and brought to the next meeting and handed to register and present to PGK FS Bob. If I am not at the meeting, each brother should give the checks to FS Bob directly.
Alternatively, if you'd like to donate via venmo, you can scan the QR Code which will deposit the funds directly to our Council's bank account. Please be sure to let me know how much was donated either by check, cash or electronically.

Sincerely Yours, best wishes for a successful drive, Vivat Jesu!

Exemplification Ceremony

The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The one degree is now the Charity, Unity and Fraternity (CUF) degree. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.

The link below includes a video of the ceremony. Take the time to view this video as a refresher as to what the nights are about and why you joined and to help you explain to your family who the Knights are, what we stand for and what we do.
