Grand Knight's Message
Grand Knight,
Jonathan De Leon
Worthy Brothers, Family, and Friends,
As we head into the "Dog Days of Summer" and the temperature really starts to rise, we need to turn up the heat on bringing in new members!
As discussed during last week's Council meeting, it starts with our Membership Drive, which we will be having during the weekend of September 10th-11th at all the masses. This is the first step in REBUILDING our core. Also kicking off that weekend will be the return of the monthly Knights of Columbus coffee and donuts to bring parishioners together (first steps in REBRANDING the Knights and REINVIGORATING the community).
If you're a Knight and want to help with these events, please contact us at officers@kofc.ws or leave us a voicemail at phone number 210-5959-499.
Council members are reminded to attend our meetings whenever possible. We need your collaboration on developing innovative programs and help our council bring members and parishioners together while supporting our local organizations. Additionally, council officers should attend all meetings. If you are not able to attend, please let everyone know by replying to this email, sending an email to officers@kofc.ws or calling 201-5959-499. If you let us know, we can mark you as excused, and will not be counting on you for our business and voting requirements.
Rebuild. Rebrand. Reinvigorate.

Exemplification Ceremony
The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The one degree is now the Charity, Unity and Fraternity (CUF) degree. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.
The link below includes a video of the ceremony. Take the time to view this video as a refresher as to what the nights are about and why you joined and to help you explain to your family who the Knights are, what we stand for and what we do.
