Grand Knight's Message

20181017_192449

Grand Knight,

Jonathan De Leon

Worthy Brothers, Family and Friends,

I would like to wish you and yours a great, safe, Summer. As per the above headline, Kathie is moving... read the message below from Brother Al Beronio and the CCW regarding her farewell party. Please make every effort to attend.

Vivat Jesus,
Jon De Leon
Grand Knight
Brothers, Family and Friends,

Kathie Sisolak will be departing our Parish July 14th after many years of deep involvement in the sacramental life of Blessed Sacrament in many roles.

Her connection to our Council is close, as well. Her husband, Steve, was a Grand Knight and an active member for many years. Her son, Carl, is also a member and we have supported him in his years in the Seminary. We are proud to now be able to call him Brother Carl, a member of the Alexian Brothers Community.

Kathie will be honored at a Parish Farewell gathering to be held Sunday July 10th, after the noon Mass, in the All-Purpose Room. I have attached the official announcement from the Parish.

Brother Al Beronio
Recorder, Council 5959

Exemplification Ceremony

The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The one degree is now the Charity, Unity and Fraternity (CUF) degree. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.

The link below includes a video of the ceremony. Take the time to view this video as a refresher as to what the nights are about and why you joined and to help you explain to your family who the Knights are, what we stand for and what we do.
