Grand Knight's Message

20181017_192449

Grand Knight,

Jonathan De Leon

Dear Worthy Brothers, Family and Friends,

As our Fraternal Year comes to an end at the end of June, we're just beginning the season of graduations, weddings, vacations, and various other family functions, this is a wonderful time to recharge and spend some quality time with our loved ones.

We had a very productive Council meeting on Wednesday 6/8. Here is a recap:
  • We decided to postpone our Church drive until after the summer and have it in the month of September.
  • The Annual Pride in our Priest dinner is Thursday, September 8, 6-10PM at the Imperia in Somerset. If you are interested in going, please email me at kofc5959.jondeleon@gmail.com no later than July 15th. The cost is $65 per person.
  • Lastly, I am happy to announce that we have filled our Slate of Officers for the 2022-23 Fraternal Year. Thank you to those below who stepped up and decided to take on leadership roles within the Council. Also, special thanks to Kennedy Acrockiam and Dominick Larosa, our newest Officers, for becoming more active within the Council. A final big thank you to Panatieri's in Martinsville for the work they do within the community and specifically the Knights. Please consider them for your future catering needs!
While there will be a few more Wind O Hills this summer, I wish you and your family a wonderful and safe summer!
Vivat Jesus,
Jon De Leon
Grand Knight

Exemplification Ceremony

The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The one degree is now the Charity, Unity and Fraternity (CUF) degree. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.

The link below includes a video of the ceremony. Take the time to view this video as a refresher as to what the nights are about and why you joined and to help you explain to your family who the Knights are, what we stand for and what we do.
