I hope all is well with you. Hopefully, the weather gets warmer, and we can get outside and have some fun!
|
One thing I'm going to start doing is recapping our last Council meeting so that we can get an idea of the topics and events that are going on within the Council. At our last meeting we discussed the following:
|
- Growing Membership: We will be holding a Delta Church Drive the weekend of May 21-22. This entails speaking from the pulpit, promoting the Knights, and gathering information from prospective members to re-establish our core.
- Slate of Officers for the next Fraternal Year: First draft of the Slate of Officers is due to DD by June 1st. If you're interested in holding an Officer position, please contact me directly. We NEED your help and leadership!
- Scholarships: Thank you to PGK Fred Ciociola for all your work on reviewing the scholarship applications! We awarded scholarships to (2) deserving individuals along with 1 each to Immaculata and Mt. St. Mary's to be awarded at their Graduation/Awards ceremony.
Lastly, Happy Mother's Day to all mothers! Thank you for all you do and being the true glue that holds the family together! As is our tradition, our council will distribute carnations to all mothers this weekend.

Exemplification Ceremony
The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.

Held every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, except as periodically announced. All members of the Knights of Columbus in good-standing are invited to attend, please arrive no later than start time.
|

Meeting Time: 7:30 PM for the meeting, or 7:10 PM to pray the Holy Rosary
