Dear Brothers, Family, and Friends,
|
Please see note below from Fr. Brian Nolan, regarding the sudden passing of Br. Michael Burns. We pray for his soul and for his family and loved ones, he will be missed.
|

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news with you of the sudden and unexpected passing this afternoon of our Director of Music, Liturgy, and Adult Formation, Michael Burns. Michael has been a part of our Blessed Sacrament parish family for the past 6 years and was known throughout the diocese for his faithfulness and dedication.
|
Whether at the organ or the piano, and always with our choir, Michael brought our liturgies to life through worship and song. As Director of Adult Formation, Michael was exceedingly knowledgeable in the Catholic tradition.
|
We ask for your prayers for Michael, his family, and friends, and for our community. His loss is felt very deeply by my brother priests and me, by our staff, our choir, and all who knew and admired him.
|
Funeral arrangements are pending. We will update you on our plans to celebrate Michael’s life as they become known
|

Exemplification Ceremony
The Knights of Columbus has revised the degree program; it is now one Exemplification Ceremony which combines 1st. (Charity) 2nd. Unity and 3rd. Fraternity, our Orders' principles. The 4th (Patriotism) continues to be a distinct event.

Held every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, except as periodically announced. All members of the Knights of Columbus in good-standing are invited to attend, please arrive no later than start time.
