My apologies for the duplication... the Today Show link to Br. Frank's Birthday coverage had one too many blanks, it now corrected:

Happy 95th Birthday Frank Devita
It was a great day... there must have been 200 + cars participating, plus a slew of Fire Trucks, Ambulances and Police Cars!

Brothers, Sir Knights, Family and Friends,
How appropriate that we had a tremendous effort started by Ann Marie Marinaccio, widow of PGK Joe Marinaccio, and culminating on the marquee segment for the Today's Show Memorial Day coverage. Happy Birthday to Brother Frank, (one more time), and Happy Memorial Day to all.
Click on link to view the video from NBC's Today coverage of this great event!
We have agreed with the Red Cross Blood Bank to postpone the blood drive due to logistics presented by the current COVID-19 Epidemic; a new date will be announce as soon as it is available.
I am inviting all council members in good standing to attend our next online council meeting, which will be held this Wednesday starting with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and the meeting will start at 7:30 PM. We will be using a new service for the first time (Microsoft Teams). I am asking that you all try accessing this new system and get online well before the start of the meeting to load all needed apps and plug-ins for your PC, MAC, smartphone etc.; there is not phone dial in for this one.
Stay Safe and Vivat Jesu!

Brother Frank Devita, Our Hero!

As a member of the United States Coast Guard assigned to the USS Samuel Chase, Frank served as a gunner’s mate third class and crewed a Higgins boat on 15 D-Day landings. Frank was a part of the first wave, on June 6, 1944, that brought the Big Red One into Omaha Beach, and to this day still wonders how he survived.
