Brothers, Sir Knights, Family, and Friends,
A gentle reminder that this Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the newly re-instated 12:00 Noon Mass we will venerate the deceased Brothers of our council at the Memorial Mass. This annual ritual is one of our most meaningful council events as we will, one day, also be venerated by our fellow brothers.
The Installation of Officers will follow shortly after the 12 Noon Mass, Officer participation is key to renew our commitment to Council 5959, Blessed Sacrament Parish and the Knights of Columbus and the Church.
Please invite as many parishioners, knights and family as possible to attend this Mass, as we'd like to have maximum occupation as a show of unity with the Knights of Columbus and Church.

Thank you all for your efforts in bringing us back as parishioners of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament!

Dear Brothers, Family and Friends,
As we close out an unprecedented year consumed by a global pandemic, many people are left in need of basic items such as food and clothes (particularly winter coats). The Knights of Columbus, Martinsville Council 5959, as in previous years, wants to continue supporting local charities in Somerset Country with the most critical items.
Because of the unique and continuing unprecedented circumstances, as we did in the Spring, we're raising money this Christmas Season (including Thanksgiving) to support our local charitable organizations. We will present these organizations with the donation prior to Christmas, and a follow-up donations as additional ones are received.
Your donations will reach so many families in the Somerset County area. Thank you in advance! We wish you and your families a Happy Thanksgiving, a blessed Christmas, and a prosperous New Year!
God Bless you!
DGK Jon De Leon

As a member of the United States Coast Guard assigned to the USS Samuel Chase, Frank served as a gunner’s mate third class and crewed a Higgins boat on 15 D-Day landings. Frank was a part of the first wave, on June 6, 1944, that brought the Big Red One into Omaha Beach, and to this day still wonders how he survived.
