Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary

In the month of October, the Church particularly honors the Most Holy Rosary. As Catholics, we know that the Rosary is very powerful, with each meditation reminding us of the inner lives of Our Lord and His mother.

Today, on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, we ask that you visit a special page that we made just for you: www.ewtn.com/ourladyoftherosary.

Here, you can read about the miraculous Battle of Lepanto, watch videos on the Holy Rosary, and download a free eBook that features Mother Angelica’s Rosary reflections. These special excerpts written in Mother’s unique style will help you meditate on the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

Just as Our Lady interceded on behalf of Christians at the Battle of Lepanto, she still intercedes for us today. Especially in these uncertain times with the pandemic, civil unrest, and the upcoming election, we should rely more heavily on prayer.

We hope that, in this month of the Holy Rosary, you will join us as we pray for our country and for the world. With your help, we can offer Jesus and Mary a large spiritual bouquet, filled with Rosaries, chaplets, and novenas. And please let us know how we can pray for you here: www.ewtn.com/prayer.

We trust that these resources will help enrich your prayer life and bring you closer to Jesus, Mary, and the saints.

In Christ,

Your EWTN Family

Br. Frank Devita - D-Day to Hell and Back
As a member of the United States Coast Guard assigned to the USS Samuel Chase, Frank served as a gunner’s mate third class and crewed a Higgins boat on 15 D-Day landings. Frank was a part of the first wave, on June 6, 1944, that brought the Big Red One into Omaha Beach, and to this day still wonders how he survived.
