As previously announced, our next meeting is on November 28, we will hold a short business in our normal meeting room at 7 PM, and then have Br. Frank Devita's presentation in the Parish Hall at 8 PM.
|
At this event, we will collect non-perishables to donate to the VA. We are asking that each attendee bring 2 cans of food.
|
All Parishioners Family and Friends are invited!
Itinerary for November 28th is as follows:

A. We will have a short council meeting @ 7:00 pm upstairs in class rooms 1&2
|
|
B) Attendees to arrive between 7:00 and 7:45 pm at the Parish Hall, drop off cans of food and be seated
|
C) Introductions and Presentation starts by 8:00 pm
|

On December 23, we need your support to escort our Lyons VA Vets to Mass. This is a full mass and may be used as your Sunday obligation or in addition to your customary Mass at your home parish.

Stepping Back in Time
Dear Brother Knights and Blessed Sacrament Parish Family,
|
You are invited to join us as Brother Frank Devita, long time parishioner and a World War II veteran, recounts his story - Stepping Back in Time. A gripping story of the beach landing at Normandy on D-Day, in which he crewed on a Higgins Landing craft personnel vehicle.
|
In a special ceremony on June 6, 2014, in memory of the 70th Anniversary of the invasion of Normandy, Frank was awarded the National Order of the Legion of Honor.
|
Frank has had numerous speaking engagements, both in the United States and France, and has been interviewed by Tom Brokaw on NBC’s Today Show.
|
All KofC members and Blessed Sacrament parishioners, family and friends are welcome to attend this special evening.
