Wow! You are wonderful! Thanks so much for the generosity of the knights and all your efforts to help us help our mothers and babies!

The diapers and wipes that Fred dropped off cheered up all our volunteers and the generous donation of $300 and $1000 more is such a blessing! We are thrilled to be able to help so many and were so grateful for the air conditioning!!

Your coat drive will be so appreciated. We can’t wait to hand them out!!

Thanks so much for your kindness to our center!!!
God bless you all!

Chris Manara

Christine, I stopped by to let you know we approved additional funding last evening for $1000 to help off set your Air Conditioning and operational costs.

Recently Brother Fred Ciociola dropped off $300 worth of Diapers and Wipes. We had also approved the $300 in funds we provided in September. I am hopeful these donations will help you in your special duties.

We will be holding a coat drive for all types of Children and Adult sizes and I know you said coats are in need. We will do our best to secure clean slightly used coats.
Sincerely,

Vincent Scafuto

15 Fall Riddles and Jokes for Kids (Submitted by Br. Dave Martin)

Riddles and jokes are a great way to help our children laugh and put their brains in motion at the same time. Add to that the fun of a festive season like fall, and you have one terrific opportunity to make some great memories with the kids. Here are some silly, and yes, corny jokes and riddles to help put some fall smiles on those faces.

Riddles and jokes are a great way to help our children laugh and put their brains in motion at the same time.

Q: What do you use to mend a jack-o-lantern?
A: A pumpkin patch.

The nurse walked into the busy doctor’s office and said, “Doctor, the invisible man is here.” The doctor replied, “Sorry, I can’t see him.”

Q: Who won the skeleton beauty contest?
A: No body.

Q: Who helps the little pumpkins cross the road to school?
A: The Crossing Gourd.

Q: What do you get when you divide the circumference of your jack-o-lantern by its diameter?
A: Pumpkin Pi.

Q: I’m tall when I’m young, I’m short when I’m old, and every Halloween I stand up inside Jack-o-lanterns. What am I?
A: A candle.

Q: If money really did grow on trees, what would be everyone’s favorite season?
A: Fall.

Q: What do you get when you drop a pumpkin?
A: Squash.

A family of fall leaves were trying to change a light bulb. A squirrel walked by and asked why the bulb wasn’t changed yet. The red leaf said, “Because we keep falling.”

Q: What happened when the turkey got in a fight?
A: He got the stuffing knocked out of him.

Q: Who lives in the scary Hundred Acre Wood?
A: Winnie the Boo.

Q: What did one leaf say to another?
A: I’m falling for you.

Q: Why are all Superman costumes tight?
A: They’re all size S.

Q: Why do birds fly south in the fall?
A: Because it’s too far to walk.

Q: Why is Dracula so easy to fool?
A: Because he’s a sucker.
