On Sunday August 12th was Father McGivney's Birthday, as you know, Father founded the knights of Columbus in 1882 and has been an inspiration to many.
|
Congratulations to brother John Fus for having been selected as Knight of the Month for July.

Save the Date! Oktoberfest is just around the corner, we are looking forward to a really festive event, including many German favorites.

Finally, a picture of one of one of our new "Street Lamps" at the Blessed Sacrament Church parking lot adjacent to the church entrance. Great choice by our Pastor and Council Chaplain, Father Rick.

Reminder: Parking lot is under construction, please avoid walking in the construction areas and do not try to use the taped-off spaces or doors.

Many thanks to all of the knights who stopped by the Pro Life booth and helped out, especially Br. Bill Maxwell, PGK Dave Adams, Br. Dave Martin and Br. Matthew Moench. We really made a difference being there to support the dignity of life. I had several opportunities to mention our knights as well. Matt and I pictured above.

Council meetings (New Starting July 2018)" Held every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, except as periodically announced. All Knights of Columbus members in good-standing are invited to attend, please arrive no later than start time.

Meeting Time: 7:30 PM for the meeting, or 7:10 PM to pray the Holy Rosary

Meeting Location: We meet at Blessed Sacrament Parish, in rooms 1&2 (off the church lobby).
