I am honored to have been elected Grand Knight for this great council. I am please that my first message to you and on behalf of Council 5959, is to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Independence Day! Mary and I wish you all a safe and peaceful 4th of July.
|
As we started to plan our fraternal year, and the many wonderful events we undertake, I am reminded of the great men that have preceded me as Grand Knights of our council. Many are still active and serving the council admirably, others are no longer able to participate in our events and many have been called home to Eternal Life. This past Fraternal Year, we have lost some of the great ones, PGK Bill Smith, PGK Charley Fitzgerald and just last week PGK Phil Matarese. PGK Patrick Noonan and I were honored to be able to deliver our council's condolence to Phil's family at his funeral.

Council meetings (New Starting July 2018)" Held every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, except as periodically announced. All Knights of Columbus members in good-standing are invited to attend, please arrive no later than start time.

Meeting Time: 7:30 PM for the meeting, or 7:10 PM to pray the Holy Rosary
|
|
Meeting Location: We meet at Blessed Sacrament Parish, in rooms 1&2 (off the church lobby).
