We are honored that State Deputy, Vincent P. Tavormina, of the NJ State Council attended our meeting this Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He presented Brother Frank Devita with an award commemorating and honoring Frank's service to this great country. Thank you, Brother Vincent, for your presence and awarding our Brother Frank for his heroic service during World War II.

The Italian Tribune published a special front-page article on Frank DeVita, which Sal Longo helped coordinate.

Additionally, we presented a donation to the Somerset County chapter Director Larry Hanko who attend our meeting with Paul, one of the athletes. They both provided us information on the organization and all the good that it does.

Our bake sale was a great success with $990 in receipts. Thank you all for your help and in any way participated in baking or buying in this very important fundraiser. This was a great effort by PGK Dave Adams, Brother John Fus, Brother Bob Riggio, and so many more of you.

Thanks to all the brothers and parishioners who did the baking, and purchase all the muffins, cookies, cupcakes and cakes.

Council Annual Christmas Social BYOD

It's hard to believe but our council's Annual Christmas Social is only 1 month away. This year's event will be held in Rooms 14 and 15 on December 14, starting at 6:00 PM (After the Vigil Mass).

The cost per person is $12.50 ($25 per couple) and includes, Hors D'Ouver, Entres, and Desserts. This is a Bring Your Own event, please bring enough to share with your friends.

All Council Members in good standing and their wives are invited as are the widows of our past brothers in eternal rest.

At our next meeting, which is on Wednesday, December 11, we will collect items to create baskets for the raffle prizes. A few volunteers will be needed to set up the rooms, man the ticket tables, clean up after the event.
