Grand Knight's Message

reader reader:

First and foremost, I would like to welcome our new pastor, Father Brian J. Nolan to our Parish and our Council.

I wanted to thank those of you that were able to attend our first BBQ in the Garden event and helped our KofC Council come together and promote fraternization as it is meant to be. There were several Knights who brought their wives and shared in our evening; this brings to mind that we should be more inclusive, include families at more of our events.

We were blessed to have our new Pastor, Father Brian, break bread with us, as well as our DD Bob Gray and past DD Stan Serafin, and so many Past Grand Knight of our Council. PGK Al Logiudice graced us with a brief but very engaging trip down our council's memory lane.

We enjoyed seeing several “New” old-faces who join us too. Bill, Ron, George, Peter, and Rip; thank you for coming out, hoping to see you again soon.

I welcome any feedback that will enhance our meeting and events but most importantly for us ALL to get more involved to create a stronger Church of the Blessed Sacrament community and Our Lady of the Hills Council.

On another note, mark your calendar! On August 25, 2019, for the 17th Annual Veterans of America Day at TD Bank Ballpark. See message below from FDD Stan Serafin, event chairman.

Vivat Jesu,
GK Vincent Scafuto
